I sew the words and knit the memories, I recite the Poems and whisper fairy-tales, I perform the feelings. I combine sculpture, costume and set design with performing arts in multidisciplinary installations.
Focusing on female freedom of expression, our mythologies and our shifting place in a world fraught with inequalities, patriarchy and conflict, my sculptures serve as a testament to women's resilience, strength and beauty. Knitting and embroidery become a ritual in my art, a way to process unpleasant memories, traumatic experiences and negative emotions, with the desire to overcome fear.
Considering our Earth's burden from reckless plastics usage, I recycle discarded plastics, I re-use broken toys and I upcycle abandoned technology. I offer an experience to dive in a dreamy world.
